Battlestar Galactica Fan Community

As I'm sure all of you know, there's a Battlestar convention in London next month. I've bought my tickets, but I don't know anyone else who's going. If anyone from this comm is planning on going, I'd love to hear from you! It'd be great to meet up with people and talk battlestar while we're there!

I was talking to a friend the other day and i got stuck.....the 12 colonies in bsg...are they on 12 different planets or are they 12 different colonies on one planet! i was always under the illusion that there was only one planet!

Also how can there be ONE president for 20 billion people? its not very democratic and i know there are delegats but it still seems a bit flimsy!

As fans of Battlestar Galatica get ready for the November 24 premiere of the telemovie "Razor" -- which will delve into the backstory of the Battlestar Pegasus, her crew, and Admiral Cain (Michelle Forbes) -- the network has another surprise. The movie will be preceded by an 8-week series of "mini-sodes."

Filmed in conjunction with "Razor," the two- to three-minute installments will air weekly in primetime on SCI FI Channel, and then be available online at SCIFI.com. The promotional shorts will premiere in October.

some one in the comments of a previous entry asked about Troy and where it was. I have a vague memory of Sharon mentioning it in the show at one time or another, and i could swear that it was an island on Capirica (or one of the Colonies, anyway), where some kind of accident happened and nearly everyone was killed.

or maybe i read it somewhere. can anyone help me with this?
