Ryan Robbins on Caprica

Ryan Robbins has posted on his facebook fan page that he "starts shooting Caprica on Monday".

Ryan played the Armistice Officer in the miniseries and Charlie Connor in S3 & S4 of BSG.



UPDATE FROM RYAN: He's playing a character called Diego who is "an important part of Clarice's storyline" and Eric Stoltz will be directing the episode.

I love him on Sanctuary...and on BSG...and on Stargate Atlantis! I just love him! haha! Thanks for sharing!

I remember people saying that he looked like Lee and that he could be Jamie, and I always thought that he we wore make-up, but I didn´t notice he was Ryan either. O_O

Some people thought he was going to be revealed as the final cylon (because he played two characters).

I'm not sure who Clarice is. I haven't watched the Caprica pilot yet. Was she in that?

I havent watched the Caprica pilot yet either :P It's not out on DVD here yet, will be next month hehe.

Played by Polly Walker, Sister Clarice Willow is one of the main characters. Clarice is the headmistress of the private religious school that most of the teenage characters attend. Officially an adherent of the mainstream polytheist faith, she is secretly a monotheist. Moreover, she and some of the teenagers are involved with a terrorist sect of fundamentalist monotheists that seek to drive out "the many gods" (and their believers?). Last but not least, Clarice has ten spouses. So Diego may be a teacher, or a fellow monotheist, or one of Clarice's spouses (though I doubt new spouses are introduced that late in the season).

P.S.: So much for Eddie's comment that Luciana will be the only recognizable BSG actor on Caprica. ;) But that's cool, I look forward to seeing the cast and crew working together again

Yeah, according to one of the commentaries, they actually shot him in several stages of age makeup to sort of convey the "This guy has been coming here for a looooooon time" message, but then cut all the previous makeup stages and only showed the last one. :)
